Troubleshooting audio not coming out of a room's sound system and only out of a computer.

Q: Why is audio coming out of my computer and not the room system?

Answer: the audio settings in the computer need to be adjusted to send the audio to HDMI (instead of the built in speaker). This issue tends to happen more frequently on Macs.
