The following guide is intended for Oxy students attempting to print on a MacOS device, such as a MacBook.
Initial Set-Up:
1. Open Settings and navigate to "Printers and Scanners"
2. Click on "Add printer" and add the "students" printer queue
Printing:
1. While printing, click on "Destination" to view printers available to you. You may have to select "See more..." in the dropdown. "students" should now be available to select.
2. Depending on the type of device you are using, different printers will be available to you.
a. Personal (Non-Oxy issued) device: Print to "students."
b. Lab computers: Print to "Student-Ricoh."
3. If you get a "Hold for Authentication" error, then please click the arrow icon (as shown in the picture below). Then, enter your Oxy credentials.
- Your mac will automatically populate your personal Mac login credentials, so please double check that your Oxy credentials are being used instead.
